On August 18th, my son, Kaleb, broke his ankle and had to have surgery to place a plate & screws. He is non-weight bearing for 3 months. He is homebound, unable to drive, and unable to work at the Waffle House or the National Guard Reserves for the next 3 months. Since he is an hourly employee at WH, he is not eligible for short term disability and the reserves haven’t been able to find any resources to help. I’m creating a GoFundMe to help him pay his rent, utilities, and insurance for the next 3 months.
