My name is Kristen and I am a woman in long-term recovery. Before I say anything else, I want to say that I believe whole-heartedly that God is a faithful God. I believe I live in his care and He is my Provider. I hate having to take to this platform, but have received guidance to do so. Recently, a mass has been found that is causing severe pain and other complications. My wonderful doctor, Dr.Syal, has recommended surgery. I will be having a hysterectomy on February 12th, 2019 at Houston Methodist The Woodlands. At 27 years old, this is a huge event in my life. I have battled and lost an ovary in the past, and this is hopefully the end of the struggles. I will be taking a month off work, and although we do have short-term disability, we only receive partial salary. There is also the cost of surgery, medication and continuous living expenses . Working at non-profit(that I absolutely love), I am on a limited budget, and a major surgery sure throws a wrench in that budget. Any financial help is appreciated more than words can say, but above all, I ask for your prayer.
