My name is Leslie Zimmerman. My son and I are dear friends of Kalae Branco and his family. I am setting up this GoFundMe account on behalf of Kalae and his family, in an effort to help them raise funds to get them through this recent tragedy. The funds collected will be used for medical bills and living expenses. Due to the serious nature of Kalae's injury, the hospital expenses could be substantial and he will not be able to earn money to support his family for quite some time after release from the hospital. Our prayers and positive thoughts are with him in this crucial time.
On Tuesday evening, December 6, 2016, Kalae suffered a traumatic brain injury. This injury resulted in a fractured skull, brain swelling, a surgical procedure to lessen pressure on his brain and to monitor swelling. He was placed on life support to aide with his breathing and put into a medically induced coma until the swelling in the brain reduces.
Kalae and his family will need funds right away. No words can express how grateful they will be for any contribution you could make. Please, give what you can. God Bless Kalae and all of you for your assistance.
