Help Kala get Surgery

My name is Carrie Schmidt and on June 28th, 2025, my Italian Greyhound, Kala, broke her leg. We cannot afford the surgery she needs to put a plate in. She cannot be left alone all day, so my daughter volunteered to quit her job and stay home to care for Kala, which brings us down an income. We have been trying the splinting it every week at $95 a week for 8-10 weeks, but after an X-ray yesterday, it has been confirmed that she will need surgery due to both bones in her arm being broken and the splint not helping with any twisting motion she does. She is an 8-month-old puppy full of energy, so this is very hard on all of us. When I get the estimate from the vet, I will post it here and adjust the goal accordingly. If we cannot meet our goal and get her the surgery, then she is most likely going to need an amputation.
