On July 6th of this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 26. Earlier in the year I felt a small bump on the side of my right breast and decided to have it checked out by my obgyn. It needed a biopsy and it ended up being diagnosed as invasive ductal carcinoma - the most common kind of breast cancer for women.

Within the next few weeks I will be having a double mastectomy done to remove all breast tissue and the tumor. Given my age and family history with this disease I will be receiving the most aggressive form of chemo and likely radiation to lessen the chances of it returning in the future. All of this will put me out of work for at least two months. I have started this personal go fund me to help cover any expenses I will not be able to afford while out of work.

Although I am blessed to have some health insurance it unfortunately will not cover all my expenses.

And while there are so many other good causes and amazing people in need in this world, please know that I will forever remember your generosity in helping me live a long and healthy life! I appreciate all of you for your love and support through this time.
