Once again, we are going back to Nicaragua! This will be Kaitlyn’s fourth year, and Rachael’s third year serving in Nicaragua. We'll be serving with a team of 40 other individuals from Shelter Rock Church, including our Grandma Catherine. We are so blessed and excited to have this amazing oportunity again! 

We will be staying at a place called Villa Esperanza (Village of Hope). This is a rescue home for girls who were exposed to many dangerous things like human trafficking and prostitution. At the Villa the girls are fed, clothed, housed, and taken care of. Going back to the same location is good because we can continue to develop relationships, serve and impact this community, and be able to see God work in amazing ways.

Every day we will help in the La Chureca neighborhood in a new way. We will hold a morning  and afternoon Vacation Bible School (VBS) and sports camp for over 200 kids. Also, each day we will be doing many construction projects. Besides construction, VBS and sports camp, we will hold a medical clinic, that will serve over 90 people a day.

Our previous trips to Nicaragua were outstanding, and we hope that this year’s will be as well. Any contribution to our trip would be a blessing -- from a simple prayer to a donation, we appreciate it all!
