Kaitlyn's Study Abroad Journey

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn. I am a third year student at the University of Florida studying Applied physiology and Spanish. I am raising money to help fund my study abroad trip this upcoming Spring semester to Spain. I will be staying with a host family in Granada, Spain while I am taking classes at the Universidad de Granada. Along with my studies at the University, I will also be participating in a Service Learning Project where I will volunteer 5-10 hours a week at a local hospital learning from and shadowing doctors and other health professionals. This will allow me the opportunity to learn about the healthcare field overseas, so I can bring back home that experience to help me become a more well rounded medical provider. It also allows me the chance to give back to the community and do whatever I can to provide for the locals.

None of this would be possible without the unending support from my family and friends. With that being said, I am setting up a Go Fund Me page in order to help raise money to put towards my study abroad program in efforts to help balance out the cost. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated and will tremendously help. I am very excited to participate on this journey as it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and hope you can help me be a part of it.
