Kaitlyns Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
My daughter Kaitlyn was diagnosed with stage 4colon cancer June 24, 2020. Thankfully all of the cancer was removed, she had half her colon removed and reattached and one ovary removed, as it had spread to that. Tomorrow is her 26th birthday and at the end of the month her insurance policy will expire through my husbands work. She is a single mother of two boys. I have found a policy that matches are current plan but it will cost me around $500 a month. She was supposed to be done with her treatments December 31, 2020 but late October she was diagnosed with COVDI-19 as the rest of the house was ill as well. My daughter is looking to return to school in March as she will be done with her treatments the first week of February. I have appealed to our BCBSIL plan but they will not budge on this issue.
I would need the funds asap as I need to pay the first payment to get her insurance up and running for February 1st. These funds are greatly appreciated as she is needing to finish out her treatments and she needs to have her colonoscopy at the end of February. Kaitlyn will need to have follow up care for a long time. The reason I am asking for the amount above is to pay the whole year of insurance and not have to worry about it each month.
Thank you for your donation it is greatly appreciated and welcomed.
