Kaitlynn Numbers - NYLF Law & CSI

Kaitlynn Numbers is a 9th grade student of Dickson County High School with a GPA of 3.93 while enrolled in advance classes (Pre AP Biology 1 and Pre AP English 1) and is a nominee for Cadet of The Year for Dickson County High School Army JROTC Charile company. She is the top oboe player for the Dickson County High School Band of 2018, member of the Dickson County Wind Essemble, and a seasoned marcher in the award winning Dickson County High School Marching Band. She currently plays multiple instruments: the oboe, flute, trumpet, and flugelhorn. She is a Tactical Response alumni and is greatly interested in the field of forensic science and law enforcement. 

Kaitlynn has been offered a great opportunity in honor of her academic promise, leadership ability, and dedication to the profession of law, she has been nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Law & CSI. This is a 6 day program in Washington DC that will give her a hands-on experience in the forensic science career field at George Mason University along with other students from around the nation who show academic promise and leadership ability. She will also receive college credit from George Mason University.

It is an extreme honor to be nominated for this opportunity. The tuition cost for this program is $2,600 which includes lodging, two meals a day, instruction, supervisory personnel, forum materials/activities, tuition and travel protection plan (insurance), and local transportation during the program. Kaitlynn will be financially responsible for her own transportation to D.C. and home at the end of the program, one meal each day, and any incidentals.
