Today tragedy has struck our family and forever changed the lives of two sweet little angels. Today October 25th of 2023 just before 4pm est. Kaitlyn Potter 25 with child and her two children Natalee 5 and Jamison 3 was traveling home on Highway 72 near the York County and Chester County line in South Carolina. Kaitlyn’s car was struck head on by a oncoming vehicle killing Kaitlyn and her unborn son. Both of Kaitlyn’s surviving children was airlifted from the scene to Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte NC. Jamison was rendered unconscious and suffered a traumatic head injury that caused over twelve breaks in his skull. He will require multiple surgeries and a long recovery. He has been placed in a medically induced coma and endured surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain. His outcome is uncertain but we are very hopeful and leaning on faith. Natalie his sister suffered a concussion and a severed spleen. She is awake and talking…the obvious questions she has is “where is momma and bubba” and “are they okay”. Daniel her Fiancé and Father to her unborn child is devastated and like all of us questions why and how could this happen. She was his happy place and peace in this world.

Please help us in our time of great sorrow and need. This family has a tough road ahead and many decisions to make. Please help ease the burden of telling two family member good bye and helping the survivors reach their potential physically and mentally.
