Kaitlyn's Trip to Our Chalet
Donation protected
My name is Kaitlyn Bajer and I am raising money to travel to Switzerland with my Girl Scout troop to visit in Our Chalet in June 2018. https://www.wagggs.org/en/our-world/world-centres/our-chalet/
I am 13 years old and traveling to Europe for this adventure would be an experience of a lifetime. We hope to spend time with a family in Europe for several days and then travel to Our Chalet to spend time with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from all over the world.
Girl Scout Troop 905 is not an ordinary Girl Scout Troop, we are known as High Adventure Girl Scouts, H.A.G.S. We backpack, rock climb, canoe, kayak, ski, snow shoe and snow camp (in a quinzee/snow shelter we built). I'm learning how to plan for adventures and how to lead a group. I never thought I could sleep outside in a quinzee in the middle of winter. This summer I am going on an 8-day backpacking trip on the Continental Divide Trail (CDT) in Colorado. Here is a cool article from Outside Magazine about Girl Scouts and all that is gained by being part of such a high adventure group:

My troop has been working hard to raise money by selling chai, spiced tea, neck gaiters and of course cookies. My troop is also going to be providing parking services at a local trail race for donations. Anything that you can donate to my adventure would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
