Kaitlyn Hamilton

My name is Althea Kane and I am hoping for a little help and support from our great community. Kaitlyn could use some help for medical and travel expenses. (Her Dad's words follow) Most of you now know, Kaitlyn has been dealing with end stage renal disease since September and her kidneys have failed. This kid is the toughest and most resilient kid you’ll ever meet. She has kept her head up trying to march forward with college and go to dialysis 3x a week! She’s dealt with more than most know, and always pushes forward! I couldn’t be more proud of this young lady! she never gives up! And actually was applying for jobs in the middle of everything, that’s who she is as a person just plain tough! I’m privileged to call her my daughter! ❤️

We’ve been lucky enough to have some amazing friends and family to step up to the challenge of giving life! We can’t thank you all enough!

There’s 1 individual that was kind enough to let us into her life a few year's back not knowing we’d flip her world upside down, and still loved us with everything she had. She was also the 1st person to say “I’m in” when it came to giving my beautiful baby a kidney! And for this we are forever grateful for our angel! Kristy keir and Kaitlyn will undergo this transplant surgery on Thursday Dec 15th at wake forest baptist medical center. Please keep the 2 most important people in my life in your thoughts and prayers!
