As many of you already know, Tyler Daugherty was diagnosed with a brain tumor on 1/22/2020, two days before his 24th birthday.
He was admitted to UC Heath Medical Center at the Anschutz Campus on 1/29/2020. On 2/3/2020, he underwent a 16-hour surgery to remove an ependymoma and was in the ICU for 3 weeks due to several unforeseen developments before being transferred to the rehab floor recently. He is very fortunate that as member of the U. S. Air Force, his medical expenses are covered through his insurance. He is equally blessed that Kaiti Markham has been by his side at the hospital every moment since this began.
We are raising funds to assist in their loss of income which has caused a hardship we are trying to help them bridge. While her employer has been very understanding of the circumstances, the hospitalization and travel required have made it impossible for her to work full-time. We would like to help Kaiti to focus on helping Tyler return to perfect health.
These two young people have shown all of us what strength and love are about. I’m quite certain that this was more “adulting” than they planned on before their upcoming wedding!
We are so grateful for any contribution you feel you can make to help this young couple just starting their life together which is made even more special by Tyler being able to speak his vows and walk Kaiti back up the aisle.
