This is the honeymoon fund for the matrimony of Kaitlyn and Andrew.
We decided to do something a little different in terms of a wedding gift registry. Instead of a conventional registry, it is our preference that guests and loved ones support us by contributing to our honeymoon fund.
Don't like this idea? This doesn't fit with your gift giving preference? Not to worry! We will make available alternate and more conventional registry options in the near future.
What will these funds be used for?
We have narrowed our honeymoon destination search to two locations: Montego Bay, Jamaica and Aruba.
We have priced 2x Jetblue plane tickets and 7 nights in an all-inclusive resort and it comes to about $4,000.
The prospect that this cost could be absorbed with 100 guests or supporters giving $40 or even 40 families giving $100 is truly amazing.
Don't get us wrong.... we are not requesting a specific level of donation. We are certainly happy with any and all contribution --- including the conventional registry options. However, for those looking for our preference in what to recieve, this would be it. It seems to provide guest and supporters a simple way to contribute to what is sure to be a memorable honeymoon.
For those unable to contribute please know that your love and support is gift enough for us.
