For Kai & Family

Kai was born March 1st 2018, he has spent time in the NICU ever since then. He’s almost 5 months old. Kai was diagnosed with Giant Omphalocele. His intestines, partial liver, & partial stomach were on the outside covered in thin layer of membrane. He was not able to wean himself of oxygen/pressure support so in June 2018 he has a tracheostomy placed. He’s fought several infections & is currently going through small intestine obstruction. Hopefully he does not need surgery but once he is over this little jump he won’t have that much longer until he comes home. When he does get to come home he will have 24 hour home health. As parents we want to ensure that our child is being treated good by the nurses. We would like to purchase a camera set for our home that is easily accessible for us to see. Sam (dad) is unfortunately not getting much work at the moment so we are getting stretched a little thin while trying to prepare our home for Kai’s arrival. We will need some others minor things for Kai as far as organization. We are also needing help with our household bills. As I am returning to part time work & dad is still struggling with no work it has been hard on us to keep up with our bills. Anything donated will be to help us in all the categories we need as far as gas, food, hospital parking, and bills. We truly appreciate everything and anything from you all!
