Kerala, a state in India is in the midst of an unprecedented flood havoc. The calamity has caused immeasurable misery and devastation. Many lives were lost. Hundreds of homes were totally destroyed and many more were damaged. For the first time in history, more than 30 dams in that State had to be opened. Never before had that State witnessed a calamity of this scale.

In the fight against the flood, the people of Kerala have braved the odds. The path to recovery can be long & arduous, but let us all hold hands together to help in the  rebuilding efforts.

Kairali Buffalo, an association of members with roots in Kerala living in Buffalo-Niagara region, New York, has setup  this fundraising in an effort to help the affected people through Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund.
