Kaira During her Recovery from Surgery

Hi Friends from near and far,

I am starting this GoFundme for a very dear friend of mine. Many of you know her here in Boulder, Colorado and have shared a few fun times with the two of us in the past. For those who do not know her, Kaira earns a living as a hairstylist. She works full-time to support her daughter and relies on her earnings to raise her little girl.

Yesterday, being the fun-loving, active Mama that she is, she took her daughter roller skating. Unfortunately, it didn't end well and Kaira ended up falling on her elbow breaking it severely. The doctors told her she needs surgery and will be out of work for 4-6 weeks.

I know we all can relate to working as hard as possible, only to just "get by" without much savings. The system often fails to consider these emergencies for many sectors of the workforce. We as humans do our best but It's hard to get ahead. Especially when times are tough.

I am hoping to raise some money for Kaira to shine a little light on this bummer situation.
