Kaira is a rescue dog from the SPCA just adopted 1/21/21.  She appears to be a sable colored German Shepherd who was turned over for being “self destructive” aka a fence jumper.
Unfortunately she came in with a tick born blood disease that is curable with treatment.  However, it wasn’t discovered until she was adopted that the disease had progressed to the point where she needs a blood transfusion to survive due to the anemia being so severe.  I would love to save her as I can tell there’s a great dog under all the scars & infection.  Any amount you can help with is appreciated by us and Kaira.  The base estimate is roughly $3,700.
