My name is Kelli & on Jan. 10,2026 my kid's & I lost their dad & my partner of 18.5 years. It was sudden & unexpected & 100% preventable. The cause of his death is unknown as it was an unattended death, however we do know that his phone and belongings were stolen. He most likely had a medical emergency and no one stopped to check on him and he could not have called himself without a phone and his insulin pump being with the rest of his belongings. He didn't deserve to die alone and ignored nor did he deserve to be taken advantage of. He may not have always been the best at being a partner & dad but nobody is perfect & he was always trying harder to be better at it. Even though he was in pain both physically & mentally he tried his best to be the best person he could be. He was Mr. Aloha with a big heart buying strangers food/drink, always offering to help someone in need even if it was his last, he loved hard & was loved by many. I just wish he knew how loved & cherished he was. We humbly ask if it is in your heart to donate or even share our link to help with laying him to rest (we are having him cremated sometime next week) & to help my children & I with hardships that will arise with going from being a 2 income household to now a 1 income household.
