Kaimana's Legacy

The class of 2001 at Sacred Hearts Academy said farewell to one of our sweetest sisters on Monday, November 8, 2021. Kaimana Kualapai Hillen went home to God and leaves behind her loving husband and four beautiful kids. Sitting to write this and always finding tears before words, a friend of ours told me to share my memories, so I will. Kai was a sweet soul, an old soul if you will. We met when we were in middle school and were instantly friends. She had a sweet laugh that you knew came from her heart, it was soft but full. We sang along to music in the car and laughed more than we should of for two teens driving over the Pali every morning. She was honest, and told you what you needed to hear not wanted. She was very private and her battles were never known to all around her, especially this last one with cancer. She loved hard and in her final years fought even harder.

 

As our class is spread across the country, I wanted to set up this Go Fund me so we would all be able to support her family at this time. Please share with fellow alumnae. If financial support is not something that you can do please keep her children, husband, parents and siblings in your prayers.
