Kaili is our sunshine. We are hopeful that this is merely a temporary eclipse of her brilliance. She is fighting hard to heal a traumatic brain injury and has a long road ahead in the event she regains consciousness. CaringBridge provides a page for accumulated prayers and many have asked for ways to help. Prayers have been our primary need at this time but we realize that the future may present many challenges to aid Kaili in the recovery we are manifesting. We don’t have a specific financial goal but realize that rehabilitation expenses could reach astronomical numbers. We had to state an amount to host this site.

Prior to her accident Kaili was excited to re-enter the workforce to earn funds to assure the girls would be able to attend the college of their choice. We realize this tragedy has significantly altered all of our lives and we are currently existing minute by minute. The blessing is that we are surrounded by family, friends, church and community; providing meals, support and love as we navigate this new world without Kaili’s immediate presence. If a financial contribution feels right for you it will be deeply appreciated and used to apply towards Kaili’s recovery when we arrive at that unknown future.
