Kailey Bogart 2019-20 Snowboard Training & Travel

Aloha! Kailey Cortina Bogart is a 14 year-old snowboarder and surfer who is currently pursuing a professional action sports career.
She has some amazing gear Sponsors, including Volcom and Mervin Manufacturing Gnu / Lib Tech Snowboards, that provide her with the worlds best boards and so many amazing riding opportunities. She recently earned a 3rd place podium spot at the Burton US Open Jr Jam against the best under 15 year-old female snowboarders from around the world. She has numerous trips planned in the coming months of 2020 for World Rookie Tour Finals in Austria, US Ski and Snowboard Team Project Gold camp, and other upcoming spring/summer training camps. She is training full time with Ski and Snowboard Club Vail this season in Colorado. We are trying to help Kailey raise money for most crucial and immediate training and travel costs.
The long range picture: It was recently announced that the 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be held in Cortina, Italy...which truly is Kailey’s middle name. She was born about 2 hours away from Cortina D’Ampezzo, and she has her sights honed on going back to the town of her namesake in 2026 as part of the US Snowboard Team. This goal could be within her reach with the right amount of funding, training, experience, and performance.
The cost of it all: The costs of Kailey’s 2019-20 snowboard season will easily exceed $20K. Last year she earned a spot to two other events in Europe, Jr World Championships and World Rookie Tour Finals. With the amazing support of the Sarah Burke And Ross Powers foundations in 2018/19, Kailey was able to accept more invitations than ever before! As you can imagine, the costs add up quickly and we are beyond grateful for all the love and support from friends and family to help make Kaileys dreams a reality.
If ever meet Kailey in person, you may be surprised to find out she is a sweet-natured, well spoken, and highly motivated young lady. She pushes herself hard, but always cheers on her competitors to do well. She is not the type of athlete who rises up by trying to bring others down, but rather she tries to elevate the entire field of competition to the next level.
