Kaila B was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia about 2.5 years ago
at the young age of 21. Since then she has been on costly oral chemo meds. Those medicines are no longer worker and her numbers are rising.  In the last couple months she has been on a new oral chemo but again, her numbers aren’t affected. Her transplant doctor suggests we go ahead and schedule a bone marrow transplant which will be her only cure.  Her possible out of pocket costs for this procedure after insurance has been quoted around $12,000. This will require a minimum 3 week stay in the hospital and a possibility of 3-6 months off work.  As you would imagine this will mean many accrued medical bills as  well as daily living costs on top of her current bills.  Please consider helping her in any amount big or small.
