Kail Maher

On mother's day 2017 kail wrecked his dirt bike . He was taken to the hospital where they found a very large cyst taking up roughly 1/3rd of his brain. It was soon discovered that his spacing out was him having seizures and not infact him misbehaving. A series of tests were performed. They prepared for brain surgery and were rushed to Denver children's hospital with in a few weeks. The Dr there miss diagnosed kails circumstances believing he would be perfectly fine . However in spite of medication the seizures continued. Kail was cleared to live his life to get back on his dirt bike and have fun. A little over a year later kail had a bad spill on his bike which took him to Kalispell regional hospital. (July 8th 2018) It was discovered that the cyst that would never grow did in fact get bigger. His Absentee seizures were becoming more and more noticeable. And the neurosurgeon wanted to do surgery before school began. At this point kails mom had stepped down from her job to travel to see several Drs through out montana in preparation for this surgery. Anticipating being back at work by now her family has done what they can to keep her and the kids on their feet and above water. Due to some unforseen set backs the surgery was postponed and once the go a head was given they were left with 2 weeks to prepare for this upcoming surgery to remove the cyst from his brain. Along with everything they have all ready endured they are looking at being in Kalispell on the 23rd, surgery happening the 24th, and staying in Kalispell for the next few days. Immediate recovery is a few weeks as long as everything goes accordingly. Understandably so grandparents and siblings would like to be at the hospital by kails side. Finances are already beyond tight and any help to sway incoming bills that are adding up along with covering the hotel rooms for the family would be greatly appreciated.
