This is Kaiden, a very brave and determined 7 year old boy who suffers with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy. Born at 27 weeks, was diagnosed at 6 weeks old with Periventricular Leukomalacia and then at 11 months with Cerebral Palsy, in this short pace he has managed to achieve so much, however, after many appointments, his team of consultants have advised that a specific procedure (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) and up to 24 months of intensive physical therapy, Kaiden may be able to move around, and enjoy the day to day things we all take for granted.

Unfortunately, the procedure has to be self funded at a total of £40,000. Kaidens mum,(Michelle), a colleague of ours, has already raised a staggering £9000 so far, and myself, Nick, Louis, Travis and Mike are determined to help her reach her goal and give Kaiden the best possible life he can have.

We have decided to take on England's 3rd highest peak, Helvelyn, and cross arguably the 2 most dangerous mountain ridges in the UK, swirral edge and Striding Edge. This is a 12.94km hike with 1059 meters of ascent. And with only 2 weeks of notice to get ready for it too!
