Kaiden's Road to Recovery

As some of you may have heard, our nephew Kaiden Estrada was in a motorcycle accident on Thursday, July 2nd  and suffered multiple injuries. He had an emergency surgery early Friday morning and a reconstructive foot surgery this past Wednesday. His injuries include a fractured right arm, pelvis (2 places), torn left knee, shattered left foot and severe “road rash” on his left leg. 

He is currently at Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital. The road to recovery will be a long journey and Kaiden will be out of work for an extended period of time. He will need to have a few more surgeries on his knee and again on his left foot. Kaiden is an avid hiker. Doctor says it will be about a year before things return to somewhat normal, as this is a life changing injury. We are coming together as a family to help his caretaker (his mom) with the financial hardship they have endured. Please keep him in your prayers for a full recovery. Unfortunately, due to Covid he hasn’t been able to see any family or his beloved dog Chief. This will be a long road and appreciate everyone offering to help.
