Support a Family Escaping Abuse

Hi, we helped a few families at Christmas to buy gifts for the children. One of the moms reached out to me 2 weeks ago saying she left her abusive husband  grabbed her 3 kids, bare necessities, and her 2 dogs. She has been living in her car with her children and dogs because she refused to leave them with the husband.  We have been trying to see if we can get a foster family for a few weeks until she can find a place and get settled. She left everything behind.  We need to get her into a place and help with basic needs.   For those concerned she has a restraining order against him and will never put herself or children back in that situation.    

At this point, we need to board the dogs and help her get on her feet. Being abused is bad enough. Not having a warm house for her children and animals is almost as bad. Please, if you

can, let’s help her.
