My name is Kaevan, and I’m 13 years old. I have been training in ITF Taekwon-do for 8 years, and it has become my true passion. I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected to represent Team Canada at the ITF World Championship in Barcelona, Spain, this July 2025! This is an incredible opportunity to showcase my skills on an international stage and compete with the very best in this sport from all over the world. Through dedication and hard work I achieved my 1st Dan Black Belt in November 2024. Over the years, I've competed in numerous tournaments in the USA and Canada.
Why I Need Your Help
As a dedicated athlete, I have put countless hours into training and competing in Taekwon-do. Being chosen to compete in the World Championship is an incredible honor, but traveling to Barcelona to represent Canada comes with significant expenses, and unlike many sports, martial arts receive no government funding in Canada.
Your contribution, regardless of size, will directly support:

• Competition-grade Taekwon-do uniforms and sparring gear
• Official Team Canada tracksuits
• Final intensive training sessions
