We’re moving!

Hello everybody!

We are here to share our story as we are moving but not really because we chose to.

So since we’ve been in Redding in our house we have been dealing with an ongoing set of needed repairs in our home most importantly, our moldy, broken shower. It’s the only one we have and there hasn’t been ventilation for decades and the walls are made of particle board that has holes in it.

After two and half years of asking for it to be fixed and even offering to do it ourselves we were met with dismissal time and time again. This all after Emileah got lead poising after being here a few months and it wasn’t even remediated just poorly painted over by the poor help our landlord hired lol

So this year we had the city come out and we got mold testing done and it all came back as both a violation and multiple positive mold tests with various serious strains. Once we presented that and a the ultimatum to fix it, our landlord decided to force us out rather than do anything about it, even ignoring the city and giving them a false account of what happened.

Now unfortunately this all coincided with a really slow start to the year with my business as well making things, well very tight to say the least.

It’s been an intense last three months, forcing us to turn to God and our community in the face of odds we can’t control if we wanted to. We’ve become a closer family and couple, and I’ve found a part of my faith again honestly.

We know gods doing something right now and we are relying on His daily.

So that’s why we’re soing this. We have to be out of our house tomorrow and we’re taking a camping trip while we get our plan together for where we are living next.

We feel like god wants us to live simply and be mobile in the next year. So we’re selling everything we have and trying to get into an RV but we are coming up Short.

I’ve found a great camper at a great price in fantastic shape. We have sold everything we can including the family car but we still

Need about cash to get the RV and the truck ready to tow it with a hitch and tires. Fortunately I can do hitch installation and any work myself except for truck tires as I’m running on nearly bald tires at the moment.

Oour financial goals simply laid out are

$2-3000 for the RV

$1500 for the hitch and tires

$1000 for first month of camping fees and gas.

It’s hard to ask for help but we think Gods asking us to live by faith for this next step and so we’re asking for help. Whatever it looks like. We’ll even pay you back if you’d like to do it that way! Or we’ll travel to you and Tyler will do some work for you!

As we become mobile on the road, Eva is excited to start working remotely again Auditing and designing websites. She even already has a few potential clients lined up.
