Kadonash Children Charity

Hi, my name is Kadie Fofanah,  and I am from Sierra Leone, West Africa.I have a charity organisation called " Kadonash Charity," and I need your help.

I grew up in Sierra Leone, in a country that is consistently facing economic hardship. Growing up in Sierra Leone, I saw children struggling to access food, clothing, and education was diffifult, wherein only the rich could afford it.

I have been drawn to problem-solving and the power of learning since I first visited Sierra Leone in 2021.

Growing up in Sierra Leone, I assumed things were hard, but coming back ,I soon learned that women and children are still facing more struggles in their everyday lives.

I looked around and told myself I wanted to give back to society by helping these children. I had no idea how, but I believed I would.I chose to set up a charity organisation, " Kadonash Children's Charity," as my magical tool in addressing and curbing some of these problems affecting society.

I started my charity donations to children in my community.

For four years now, (December 2021 to 2024), I have been visiting these children year after year, donating clothes, food stuffs (i.e biscuits, juice, hot meal, sweets, exercise books, pen and pencils, erasers, shapiners, crayons, school bags, uniforms etc). I have also been doing Christmas parties for the children every year, just to encourage them and add a little sweetness to their lives.

My life has not been a bed of roses, and I have had challenges here and there, but I keep moving forward. I am an individual who cares strongly about her surroundings and will not be satisfied unless I am impacting the people around me in a positive way. As an African woman determined to lead and create the positive impacts she wants to see in the world, my journey has been grounded in the power of dreaming and selflessness. I have the unique experience needed to accelerate and innovate my dream, and I look forward to achieving that goal with your support.

I plan to one day own one of the largest children's charity institutions in the world.However, it takes time and money to reach my desired destination of impact-making.

I know someone out there believes in my vision for the provision of food, clothing, and educational empowerment of children in my country, Sierra Leone. I see a community out there that believe in my vision to improve the standard of living of these children and giving them an opportunity to a brighter future through care and education.
