In memory of Kadin Shepperson

My cousin Chad is living a parents worse nightmare. Some of you may have heard about his youngest son Kadin. For those of you who haven't, Kadin and his friend were involved in an altercation with 2 boys that had knives. While Kadin was helping his friend try to get a knife from the hand of one boy, the other boy went and got another knife and stabbed Kadin from behind. The knife punctured an artery in his heart. He lost a significant amount of blood and his heart stopped beating for 30min. The medical team was able to revive him and after 2 major surgeries they were able to repair the punctured artery. All of his organs and brain took a major hit from not getting oxygen and all the blood loss. He has spent the past 2 weeks fighting for his life in the ICU. Sadly his body couldn't fight any longer. It is truly devastating that a 16 year old child lost his life due to young kids fighting with weapons.

Chad is a single dad of 3 boys. He has not been working since this horrific event and has been at Kadin's bedside day in and day out. I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible to help Chad with the funeral expenses and allow him to have time to grieve the unimaginable task of burying a child.
