My name is Kadi, I am a Wife, a Mother to 2 beautiful boys, & Labor & Delivery Nurse who was diagnosed with Stage 3-4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma on 3-23-16. I will never forget that day as I felt crushed seeing my world falling apart upon hearing that I have Cancer.  I felt many range of emotions from shock and disbelief,  crying "why is this happening to me", terrified out of my mind with the thought of leaving my babies and loved ones behind, feeling punished , and anger for being misdiagnosed with worsening asthma by 3 physcians which delayed diagnosis & treatment.  Thankfully I am at Acceptance and fighting to reclaim my life to beat Cancer as Cancer doesn't have me!!!!!.  
My heart is filled with gratitude as I am overwhelmed by all the kindness and love my family and friends have already shown me through their words of encouragement, cards, flowers, care packages, countless meals, rides to chemo and doctor appointments, taking care of my beautiful babies Anthony (4 years old) & Andrew (1 year old), paper plates so  I don't need to do dishes, sassy haircut, or just being there to listen to me vent and offering me hugs, love and support.  I cannot thank you all enough and I want  to pay it forward one day to help others with Cancer.  I feel everyone is contributing to my strength to help me fight and I love you all!!!!
