Kade's Smile

This is my son Kade. He is seven years old. As some already know Kade was bullied while on a school field trip. His top two front teeth were broken off, shoved up in his gums and now sit at the opening of his nostrils. The area between the top lip and bottom of his nose is broke and will take months to heal. He suffered severe gum damage which is healing better than expected. From this he is having to see a psychiatrist and was put on homebound the remainder of school and will homeschool starting second grade. The Dr says a lot of his sadness comes from not only being bullied that day but because his smile is no longer what he knew. Prior pictures trigger his anxiety. He repeatedly asks why the boy wanted to hurt him and if he is still cute. He cries alot...his self image at seven years old has been greatly altered. He has insurance but they will not pay because what he needs is considered cosmetic. I've called and talked with them with no luck. The bills are quiet expensive and adding up....he has a long road of treatment ahead. He will have temporaries soon and later In his teenage years something permanent, such as dental implants. Which brings me here.... I have wrestled with this idea for weeks but after the news we got today I knew this is what I had to do....for my son! As his mother I have cried, prayed and made myself sick...literally! I will do whatever it takes for him to be able to smile again without hesitation and while looking in the mirror tell me he is a handsome boy as he used to do. My only wish is for Kade to feel better physically and emotionally. Please help us bring back.....Kade's Smile!! We will forever be grateful...
