Help Save Spike

My dog Spike, my baby, is very sick. I have spent 10 days with him and in out of his primary care vet and the vet emergency room. He has not eaten a meal during these 10 days and is really having a hard time. I never dreamed I would ever have a Go Fund Me for anything, but, as his mother, I want to do everything I can and more to help him get better.

I have already spent thousands searching for a possible intestinal obstruction, doing blood work panels, and purchasing medications for Spike. Because he continues to not eat, we came to the vet ER tonight for a new X-ray. This X-ray shows an enlarged spleen, which Spike will likely need surgically removed, and it also shows that he is at 10% lung capacity due to either fluid or pus (likely pneumonia). To help his lungs, he is having intravenous antibiotics tonight and breathing treatments. The vet believes he is not eating due to having to make the choice between eating and being able to breathe.

I am 100% confident his condition is fixable, which is why I am setting aside my deep pride to ask for help. Yes, I am a business owner and have a nice life, but, even in my situation, I need help to be able to see this through.
