Our dear friend and devoted colleague Karolina Kaczmarczyk, her wonderful husband Rick Apgar, and their two vibrant daughters, Ania (5) and Kaya (3) tragically lost their home in the Glass Fire that hit St. Helena, CA on Sunday.

They were awoken in the middle of the night and fled with little warning of the devastation that would ensue. They not only lost their home but all of their possessions. Everything that they once held dear, from personal memorabilia to family heirlooms, was lost. 

At Blue Bottle, there is a major emphasis on care right now, so we are looking to one another and our extended Blue Bottle family to provide tremendous care to Karolina and the Apgar family as they navigate this unimaginable challenge.
