In July of 2015, Kacie Rose Pou competed in the USA National Karate Championships & United States Team Trials in Ft Lauderdale Florida.  She won a Bronze Medal in the 15yr old female Black Belt Advanced Division-Kata (forms), and a Silver Medal in the 15yr old female Black Belt Elite Division-Kumite (sparring).  Only the Gold and Silver Medalist from the Elite Division can be on the USA Jr. National Karate Team.   Team USA will be competing in the Pan American Championships in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on August 25th-29th, 2015.  Kacie is hoping to repeat last year’s Gold Medal performance in sparring at the Pan American Championships in Peru!  

USA Coaches and a chartered bus for the team are covered expenses.  Non covered expenses for the athlete and mandatory adult chaperone include airfare, passports/visas, yellow fever vaccinations, lodging and food.
