Kabel's miracle

5 weeks ago the life of Ryan and Kabel Sheehan was turned upside down. Kabel Sheehan, mother of three, Kyla (5), Evan(3), and Koda (1). Awakened with mysterious headache. Within seconds on that Friday morning, she was experiencing a grand maul seizure. Fortunately, Ryan was still home, came into the bedroom and saw his wife laying nearly paralyzed in a seizure. That morning began a journey of horrific proportions. Through series of tests and biopsies and MRIs it was discovered that Kabel had stage 4 glioblastoma. In the natural the prognosis was not good. However our God reigns!
The tumor was in a place that was operable and they immediately took her into surgery upon finding out the diagnosis.
The surgeons were able to remove over 95% of the tumor. Now affected by the brain surgery, Kabel has spent the last two weeks at Mary Free Bed learning to regain strength on her left side. The damage is not permanent but her brain has been stunned. Now the journey of chemo and radiation is before her, as we wait for the miraculous that's of God. They will be traveling from Grand Haven to Grand Rapids everyday for radiation and physical therapy for a lengthy period of time and hopefully if accepted several trips to Duke University for further treatment.
Ryan has been holding down the fort with the three children, at Kabel's side 24-7, and somehow still managing to provide. Last week he had to return to work. As you can imagine this journey has completely interrupted their lives and put an amazing amount of pressure on them physically, financially, spiritually, and relationally. As the body of Christ were asking that you come around the Sheehan family and support them.
