KA'ANAPALI ROYAL EMPLOYEE FUND - LAHAINA FIRE

Aloha friends and KRoyal Ohana,

We are raising money to help our impacted employees Jacob, Ginny and Edgar, who were displaced due to the recent Lahaina fires. These funds will assist them with finding new housing and replacing their personal belongings. Update 9-14-23: Mahalo everyone for the overwhelming response! We exceeded the $20K goal by $6K! I have closed this GoFundMe to donations as it's time to go to Maui and surprise the employees with a luncheon and the nice large checks to help them in this small way to get their lives back to a somewhat normal pace. Of course things will not be the same in Lahaina ever, but we have hope that a new town will rise with better housing and yet keep the historical charm we all love.

Update 9-26-23: Gave out checks to Jacob, Ginny and Edgar during a nice luncheon by the beach at Duke's Ka'anapali. They were overwhelmed and so appreciative...a few tears of joy all around!

The staff thanks everyone and Ginny even said how she appreciates her job at Royal. We owners are so lucky to have such a great dedicated staff year after year, but especially so during this trying time.

Again Mahalo to everyone including our friends and vacation guests as well as so many owners that helped make this a reality.
