Dear Family and Friends,
I recently learned that I have the opportunity to take what God is doing in my life and share it with others across the world. NewSpring Church will be sending a team of volunteers to Kampala, Uganda from May 21st to May 30th, to continue the Freedom Heroes Project. NewSpring is partnering with Freedom Church of the United Kingdom, who has a church campus in Kampala. The Freedom Heroes Project helps provide orphaned children and young people living on the streets with care, education, and support in their daily lives, as well as, for some, a safe place to live. I am extremely excited to have the chance to share God’s word and change the lives of so many people abroad, but I cannot do this on my own. Each volunteer must pay $3,500 by April 6th, to cover expenses that include airfare, lodging, food, safety, and supplies. I believe that educating, providing food and care, and supporting the children in places like Kampala, Uganda is the best way to decrease the amount of poverty, famine, abuse, and rape that occurs in African countries. I need your help and would ask that if you are willing to make a donation to support this cause and help send me to disciple for Christ to the nation of Uganda, please see how to give below. No amount is too small. Every penny counts and will bring me one step closer to helping these children. If financially, you are unable to help, I would ask you to keep me in your prayers during this time.
