On September 9th, 2020, the unimaginable happened. The complete loss and devastation of the Bear Fire took Sara's world.
She is safe, a bit traumatized after driving out of Berry Creek through a bridge that was on fire but she is ALIVE. Sadly her home did not survive.
A heartbreaking situation....the quiet mountain home she always dreamed of, surrounded by nature is gone. It was a place that offered her family a calm retreat from a world surviving a pandemic. An oasis for her grandchildren to explore and adventure.
She will rebuild back in Berry Creek but will need to rent a place to live for the next 6-12 months (maybe even longer)....buy items she couldn't get into the truck before she left.
As with most of us, she is not one to ask for help so I'm doing this for her. Any support to help her efforts to get back on her feet is so appreciated. Thank you for anything you can do to help my Tia.
