I am a partially disabled Vietnam veteran, currently an owner of a successful dog training company in Maryland. One of the venues we specialize in is service dog training. These well trained dogs are providing immeasurable assistance to their owners, whether it be for the physically or the emotionally handicapped owners. Given the increasing number of veterans returning from war, the need for these dogs has grown dramatically, but unfortunately we are limited as far as space is concerned to house the dogs for the training program.
Help us build a brand new, state of the art dog training and boarding facility! With a new facility we can provide a service to our veterans and members of the community who are in need of physical or emotional assistance. Each contribution will also be helping dog owners in the community who have a need for their cuddly companion to be better behaved. You will also be playing a critical role in allowing us to offer other training venues such as: Day Care, Puppy Dates, Agility, Training Classes,"Puppies in the Park" (A state of the art indoor doggie park), New Puppy Orientation, Dog Boot Camp, as well as offering many other dog related opportunites for the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area!
We need the capabilities to house more dogs in order to provide assistance to our veterans and the public who are so needy and deserving of these special animals, as well as to offer considerably more training programs and venues. Our program is not only directed towards veterans, but anyone who is in need of dog training, whether it be for a simple behavioral issue or to produce a well behaved, well mannered obedient furry member of their family. We also specialize in our highly successful "Boot Camp", a 14 day board and train program. Our current clients include training a seizure alert dog for a 3 year old child who has daily seizures as well as being fundamentally underdeveloped as well as a 105 pound 9 year old German Shepherd, who never learned to even sit.
Your generous donation will not only help our veterans and dog community gain dog companions to assist with their disabilities, but it will provide opportunities for dog owners to build better bonds with their four- legged family members through training.
