Hey everyone,

My name is James Miller and anyone who has met me knows how much I love and care for my dog, Ellie. Anyone who has met Ellie knows the impression she leaves on people between her happy demeanor, soft eyes, and constant tail wagging.

On Friday, February 7th Ellie developed increased abdominal bloating, and thanks to the amazing staff at both Blue Pearl and Penn Vet they were able to expedite her case and diagnose her with a ruptured mass on her spleen requiring emergent surgery on Saturday, February 8th. She is now discharged from Penn Vet and recovering comfortably at home with me. However, the vet bills and surgery have totaled around 8,000 dollars. Every bit of support you can offer Ellie and me would be greatly appreciated and make a world of difference, even if it is just keeping her and me in your thoughts and prayers.
