Help a Loving Dad of Four Fight Liver Failure

Hello Everyone,

I want to share a bit about my father's battle with liver failure. At the age of 12, he experienced a severe nosebleed and was taken to the emergency room by my grandmother. It was then that doctors discovered he had fatty liver disease as a young child. My father had to undergo weekly blood tests to monitor his liver levels and was referred to a liver specialist. While we knew he had liver disease, we were unaware of the extent to which it had worsened over the years.

Recently, my father was diagnosed with liver failure. We've been in and out of hospitals, and he was recently admitted to the Misericordia Hospital. The doctors informed us that his condition is far more severe than initially thought, with his ammonia levels dangerously high, putting him at great risk. He is now in the process of being transferred to start the transplant process, but there is still a long road ahead with many tests and the challenge of finding a compatible liver.

In this difficult situation, our family is facing significant financial strain with little income coming in. We are not asking for much—anything helps. Your generous contributions will go towards:
