Help Jamie fight cancer #teamtealandwhite

I have been diagnosed with stage 2b cervical cancer. It is invasive and it is in my lymph nodes. Unfortunately surgery is not an option at this time. I have begun a 5 week journey of chemotherapy once a week and 25 doses of radiation Monday through Friday. When that is completed I will be reevaluated by my oncologist to decide if a hysterectomy or local radiation called brachytherapy will be the next course of treatment. Then I'm hoping a cure is possible. My fiance and I desperately wanted a child of our own but this treatment will make me infertile and there is no time to freeze eggs as my oncology team wants to move quickly on starting treatment. Unfortunately at this time I will only be able to be a mother to fur babies. I have learned that cancer is very expensive. Between insurance deductibles,  surgery for my chemo port placement, medications and future uncertainty has proved challenging. I will need to take time off work as I go through treatment and a possible future hysterectomy surgery.  I worry about finances as I need to focus on healing . My next several months will be tough physically, emotionally, and financially. I am a veterinary nurse with over 22 years experience and a licensed wildlife rehabilitator with a passion for raccoons. My love of animals and a passion for veterinary medicine is my motivation.  I currently work in an animal ER need to get well as soon as possible to continue to save animals and rehab those adorable trash pandas❤  Would you please donate and support my fight against cervical cancer?
