Mary Boner Flood Fund
Donation protected
On February 11, 2017 the Humboldt River which flows through the town of Elko, Nevada overflowed its banks and flooded parts of the south side of town. Those lying lowest and closest to the river sustained the most damages and loss. Our 92 year old mother is one of those.
The basement was completely filled with water and everything down there is a total loss. There was a household set up down there, but more importantly, the furnace, hot water heater, and electrical boxes are also located down there. A "state of emergency" has been declared and Red Cross is on the scene and no flood insurance. This flood is being considered an "act on God"-a "hundred year" flood. There is more information on the Elko Daily Free Press website and videos on You Tube. We will update as we go.
We would appreciate your generosity in helping us get our elderly mother back into her home.
Thank you,
The children of Mary Boner
