Emily's family is facing an unimaginable challenge right now

Donation protected
This is my Niece Emily, her Mam put this status up this evening. She's 17 years old and today my brother and his partner and her older sister received the devastating news that Emily has cancer. We are all so frightened and worried, but right now the focus is on her parents to get her into hospital to start treatment of course this comes at a cost to them because they will have to stay in a hotel in Dublin to be close to their little girl. If anyone can help in anyway

So to update, very sadly and frighteningly, Emily has a rare cancer type of Ovarian cancer for her age. Extremely rare in adolescents.
High Grade Serous Carcinoma of the Ovary.

What the next worrying issue is, the stage it's at. She is back in for her another biopsy in the morning in the Mater which is on a gland on her neck that is very swollen. Coupled with her abdominal lymph nodes being inflamed it means it has already beyond the initial site.

They have to biopsy that first thing so we are back in Dublin tomorrow for a few days which are just covered by the remains of the funds raised last. However with the way that hotels prices change 3 nights this week costs a few hundred more than last week which is bizarre (700 for 3 nights vs 400 last week for 3 nights?! It's at hospital rate so I don't understand and we haven't even included Saturday and Sunday because we are hoping she might be out by then although they are moving fast because this is a FAST AND AGGRESSIVE CANCER. So how we pay for any additional nights is now a problem I wish to ask for help for if possible. We don't know when the hospital spring these things on us until the day of and then we aren't prepared.

Really all we are worried about at the moment is transport and accomodation cost to get her to the Mater and stay with her while up there. We can get a grant from the Irish Cancer Society but while it shouldn't take long to happen and hopefully help, it won't happen in time for the next fortnight .

I'm sorry to ask again for donations and if anyone can help with transport or accomodation as the social worker in the hospital still hasn't had any luck with figuring the grey area 17 yr olds are stuck in I would be really grateful. I just feel like my heart has stopped. I just cannot believe this is happening. I cried earlier when we got home but I can feel a lot of emotions is holding back because I don't want to break down. We also want to thank people who have already donated on revolut already it's much appreciated.

Please help in anyway possible to ensure Emily has her parents close by whilst she's going through this horrific ordeal.
