On September 6, 2024, Adam traveled to Georgia to visit his sister and brother-in-law for the weekend. Sunday morning, he was taken to the hospital where it was determined he had suffered a stroke. He was moved to the ICU and put on a ventilator to help the swelling in his brain reduce in the hopes he would soon be able to return home.

He will be in need of a lot of rehab and has a long road ahead of him to recover as much functionality as possible. He was the only income for his home and without him being able to work, they will not be able to pay for his medical needs or their monthly bills.

All proceeds will benefit Adam and Laura as they're in Georgia and when they get home.
