Outfit Moray

Hi Everyone, I’m not one for asking for donations often but on this occasion I am and it is for a local charity based in Lossiemouth who provide outdoor activities (walking, canoeing, rock climbing) for young children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds and those with disabilities. A worthy cause in my eyes.

Anyway, I made the crazy decision a little while back to run a marathon (The Dramathon, in Speyside) on Sat 19 Oct 24, yes next weekend. I stupidly agreed to take the place of a friend who had to deploy overseas with work. This is my first (and last) marathon and only around 3 weeks ago I realised that this is a trail marathon and not on the roads (god help me). In the past I have completed a couple of half marathons, these have been much larger events with lots of support and buzz along the route, I feel this will be a different affair, running through the Scottish highlands in the cold autumnal weather.

This is going to be both a physiological and mental battle for me and my only ask is that you can provide even a couple of quid towards a very worthy cause.
