K9 Stray Expansion Efforts

There comes a time in every organization to evaluate their needs. For K-9 Stray, that time is now. Our neighbors to the north have been extremely gracious to allow us to use their lot for parking as well as dog walking. Currently this lot is for sale. In the event the lot sells we will be back to parking and walking the dogs in the street which is not safe or practical for volunteers, the dogs or the visitors.
Board members have spent a lot of time discussing the options and although nothing is set in stone we feel it is in our best interest to begin fundraising with the hopes of purchasing the property next door. Their asking price is $275,000.
This Go Fund Me will be one of many fundraisers that our volunteers will be putting together to try to reach a common goal. In the hopeful event we are able to fundraise more than the goal, the money will be placed into a building fund to help our aging building that is in dire need of repairs or to help fund a brand new building so that we can continue to save dogs.
