Help K9 Advocates Manitoba Save Animals
Donation protected
K9 Advocates Manitoba is a non-profit organization devoted to rescuing animals from rural First Nations communities & giving them a second chance at a life they deserve.
Rescuing animals means high costs. Each month, we spend thousands on transporting animals in from remote communities and vet bills for everything from heartworm treatment to broken bones to parvovirus. We have constant requests to bring dogs & cats with medical issues in to care - paying for vet bills we can't afford but we can't stand to see the animals suffer.
We rely on donations from our generous community across Canada to help with the never-ending costs. Without financial support, we cannot bring in any more dogs & cats and have to say no to daily requests for help.
Why do we need help?
- We owe $50k in vet bills
- We've spent $81k in vetting already this year - and it's only March
- We currently have 11 heartworm positive dogs in care. Treatment is costly and necessary.
- We've rescued 336 cats already in 2023. That's over 100 per month.
- We've rescued 492 dogs in the last 3 months.
How can I help?
- Donate - even if it's as little as $5 or $10, it makes a huge difference.
